Deleting your My WNP account

My WNP is the app published by West Northamptonshire Pickleball CIC. You can delete your account yourself, from inside the app, at any time. You do not have to ask us and you do not have to wait for anybody.

How to delete your account

Open the My WNP app and sign in.
Tap Me in the bar at the bottom.
Scroll to the bottom, to Leaving.
Tap Close my account.
The app shows you what you have booked and what you will lose. Read it.
Type DELETE to confirm.

It happens straight away. We ask you to type the word because it cannot be undone — not by you, not by the club, and not by anyone with access to our systems. Once your name and address are gone there is nothing left to restore them from.

If you cannot get into the app

Email hello@westnorthantspickleball.com from the address on your account, or call 07516 689202, and ask us to close it. We will do it and confirm by email within 30 days, usually the same week.

What is deleted

Everything that says who you were:

Your name, email address, phone number, postal address and date of birth
Your emergency contact details and any medical notes you gave us
Your sign-in. The account is scrubbed so it can no longer be used and cannot be recovered, and your email address is freed so you could join again from scratch later if you wanted to
Every copy of your name and address written into our own records — session registers, court hire records, invoices and the log of emails we have sent you

What the club keeps, and why

Some records stay, with your name removed from them:

Bookings, so we still know a court was taken
Payments and invoices, because a community interest company has to be able to account for money it has taken. HMRC requires company records to be kept for six years
Volunteer hours, for the same reason
Game results, which stay as part of a session's scores

None of these can be traced back to you once your account is deleted. What is removed is the ability to tell who the person was.

Things we do not control

Stripe handles our payments and keeps its own records of transactions, which it is required to do by law and by the card schemes. Deleting your WNP account does not delete those. See Stripe’s privacy policy.
Emails we have already sent you are in your inbox, not ours to remove.
